Vintage!

I think I may have found my all time favourite piece of fabric and to be honest, I think I will frame it as I can't bring myself to cut it.


I found it at The Vintage Fabric Market where I also bought this piece...


And while I was looking up the site to link to my blog I also saw this! (there is still a bit left if you are quick!)


Another site I have just discovered is Rag Rescue. They have lots of small pieces, the bits I got are 4 inches and 6 inches square in size, I will probably use them for buttons. They do have some bigger pieces too so are worth a look if you are after something a little different.


I got these florals and also Emily's favourite piece - "Stuart Little".


So anyway, I will hopefully get a few bits and bobs made out of the pieces I can bear to cut!

  1. I just love the vintage fabrics, it reminds me of Orla Kiely, and her handbags are gorgeous, I've even seen a sofa covered in her fabric. I don't blame you for not wanting to cut, but I can't wait to see what you'll do with it! x
